• This remote is for models with SLOT INSERT START (NON-COMFORT ACCESS). This remote will work if you currently MUST insert the key into the slot next to the Push to Start / Stop button and then push the button to start the engine. It will not work for BMW with so called COMFORT ACCESS (meaning you never have to remove the key from your pocket to start the car).
